Another Finished Project!

One of my New Year's Goal was to sew more. I'm doing pretty good so far. I finished another pair of baby slippers today to send off to sweet Pepper along with the lovie/tag blanket shown below.
Finishing projects feels so good!
I wonder how long it will take me to get to the post office?

Ok...maybe this will be Savanna's next project. I've been reading my baby books trying to figure out tricks to get Emma to sleep better. They said to pick out a lovey and put it in my shirt for a couple hours so it has my scent, then give it to her at sleep times. It will start to actually trigger sleep over time, plus it will comfort her and give her something to hold on to. I'm willing to try anything at this point!! I like the idea of making it too because they said it's always good to have 2 (in case something-gasp-happens to one! We've all been there!). So I can just buy double the fabric-voilla!
